Episode 6 Topics[edit]
Step time recording - program pitch/or velocity from a MIDI controller. Transpose+Gate - play Mono Sequencer like an instrument MIDI reset - reset your sequence to the beginning of the loop every time a MIDI note is received.
Episode 6 Details[edit]
The MIDI input menu provides an array of useful live performance and improvisation techniques. Transpose allows you to transpose or offset the entire sequence. Transpose+gate only plays when you are holding a MIDI note down. Program pitch with a loop of 1 turns Mono Sequencer into a pulser and the transpose value can be used in conjunction. Program pitch with larger loop values turns Mono Sequencer into a buffer of pitch data.
